Valentines Day Nails 2018

Hello all! <3 Your Polish Pal is still alive! Barely... just kidding. Or am I? :|

I have to admit that pink is one of my favorite colors, so it was time to pull out some dainty nail art for Valentines Day. I did these nails about a week ago but finally have some spare time to upload photos. :) Keep reading for more photos and a quick life update!

Stitched Heart Nails (+ Tutorial)

I know it's not Valentine's Day Season right now by the lack of chocolates, flowers, and jewelry bombarding stores and TV advertisements but I don't care! :D I want to have some cute lovey-dovey nail art even though it's "not in season" right now.

You've heard of Christmas in July, so why not Valentine's Day in July? ;) Keep reading to see more photos of my stitched heart nails and for a tutorial on how to make your own!

Christmas Nails 2014

Hey everyone! I know I'm a little bit late here with my festive/Christmas-y nails but as you can probably imagine, holiday season is so busy. Okay, to be honest, I didn't even do any holiday nail art this year. >.< This manicure below is the only winter themed art that I've done all year and I actually did them 2 weeks ago before finals week... Eeep, now that all the secrets are out of the bag, let's just enjoy this one winter themed manicure. xD

Memorial Day 2014

Hello friends! I wanted to do a quick post of my red, white, and blue manicure that I did for Memorial Day. I hope that you all had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend and remember the reason why this day exists -- to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

Happy Belated Valetine's Day!

Happy Belated Valentine's Day lovelies! :D

Oh bother... I know you often get a 'Happy Belated Birthday' or perhaps even a 'Happy Belated Anniversary' but does 'Belated Valentine's Day' even exist...? Haha, well it does now. :)

I literally just threw together a quick Valentine's Day manicure yesterday that I was planning on posting during the afternoon but it obviously didn't happen. :/ Oh well! While everyone is switching to green nail designs for St. Patrick's Day, I'll be that one blogger that is still stuck on pink and red nails. xD So take a look at my quickie (and last!) Valentine's Day nails for 2014. :)

French Tips + Hearts

Hey, hey my lovely friends! I know I took a quick break from all that pink with some purple yesterday but Valentine's Day is approaching quickly and I have to continue with more girly pink stuff. ;) So today I have for you my basic take at a French Manicure with little red hearts for an accent! This is the first time I've done French Tip nails so I know I have a lot of room for improvement. xD

Hugs, Kisses, and Hearts!

Whooo! I am posting my first official Valentine's Day nail art for 2014! ;D I've actually done a couple other designs but I'm not happy with the photos I got with them. :( So I decided here, I'm going to do a cute design tonight and take pictures tomorrow morning when I wake up. And this is what I ended up with. ;) I don't know about you, but I rather please with my almost 'midnight mani' creation. Keep reading for more details and pictures!

Bring On 2014!

It's the final countdown (de dee de deeeeee!)... ;)

Here is my last manicure of 2013. I debated showing you my New Year Nails now or waiting for tomorrow but opted for tonight since I wanted an official "last post of 2013". :) So let's take a look at what I'm wearing to finish this year.

Pumpkin Tutorial

Okay guys, I freaking adore pumpkins and you all know that. ;) So I decided it was high time to redo my pumpkin nail art tutorial so that you all could make your own pumpkin nails and be extremely happy like me. xD Also, I did these pumpkins for O is for Orange Day but felt like I should do them again now that my nails are longer. :) So if you're interested in learning how to create your own adorable pumpkin nails for fall, keep reading!

Spiderweb Nail Art Tutorial

Hello, hello! I finally have my Halloween nails that I promised to show you all yesterday! I've had these on since Sunday and wanted to post them then but I decided I should wait. So today I am starting this post off by showing my classic "thumb shot". (If you take a look at my posts frequently, you'll notice that I love my thumbs and they usually turn out better than the rest of my other nails. xD Hence, the reason why I showcase them is because they're the best!) Ahem. Anyway, I suggest you keep reading if you're interested in creating your own spiderweb nails for Halloween. ;)

It's My Party!

"It's my party, I can cry if I want to, cry if I want, cry is I want. You would cry too if it happened to you!" ~ Lesley Gore

Guess what day it is??! GUESS WHAT DAY IT IS!! Huh, huh? Yup. That's right. It's my biiiiiiirthday! :D And I would love to cry because I just spent 5 hours doing chemistry and French homework. But that's okay because I did get to do my nails to celebrate today. ;)

This is the first time I tried out cupcake nails and I was inspired by Hannah. I think they turned out sooooo freaking cute!

B is for Bunny

For today's ABC Nail Challenge, I have some adorable bunny nails! :D I didn't get to do many Easter nails this year because I was busy but we can say this is an example of an Easter mani. (Keep in mind though that I have a different opinion of what Easter is all about! It's not about rabbits, eggs, or chocolate for me. It's John 3:16). But anyway, bunny nails are adorable in any occasion. :) Keep reading for my bunny tutorial!

Happy Birthday Amanda!

Eeeek! Blogging definitely has it's ups and downs. A major "up" in my opinion is the people that you can meet that have the same interests as you! A lot of my friends and family know that I am obsessed with nail art, especially since I bombard their Facebook feeds with a nail photo every week or so, but not many of them try out nail art or are as apt about it a I am. When I entered the blogging world and Instagram, I was so surprised that there were others out there that also strived to become an artist on their nails! It's so great to get into conversations with people that are interested in the next nail polish collection or new tips and techniques to try next.

I want to dedicate this post to one of my Instagram (IG) besties, @painted_nails_ :) She is so stinking sweet and funny and of course I love her nails! It's been crazy watching us both grow and improve our nail art. And of course, today is a special day for her -- it's the day of her birth! :D Also known as... the birthday. :O So yeah. I painted my nails just for her but was stupid and used a pink base and then used PINK colors AFTER I figured out that she's not too girly... Sorry Amanda.. You're just going to HAVE to like the colors! But here ya go girl! I tried hard. ;) Just kidding... they're not my best! :O

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Did I really create a separate manicure and tutorial for today? Yes, yes I did because I love you guys. :) Hurray for St. Patty's Day and my manicure to celebrate! I tried my hand at making shamrock nail art but couldn't get it just right on all my nails... but I was able to capture the best shamrock in a tutorial! Haha, so please keep reading for a 4-Leaf Clover Nail Art Tutorial AND my attempt at making a cute mani. ;)

First let's do our 4-Leaf Clover Tutorial though! ;) <3 All you need are 2 different nail polish colors (one should be green though since it IS a shamrock! ;)) and a dotting tool of some sort. I just used a mechanical pencil (the lead) and dipped it into polish. So let's get started! :D
1. Start off with your base coat and let it dry. I used I'm With The Lifeguard by China Glaze. Now, to make this shamrock, we are just going to draw 4 hearts basically. :) But just in case you don't know the "easy" way how to make a heart, I'll show you how.
2. So let's start off with 2 dots. I used Gaga For Green by China Glaze.
3. Draw one line coming out of one of the dots.
4. Repeat step 3 but keep in mind that this time you have to make the 2 lines connect. Do you see the heart now?!! (Or well, they're not hearts. They're clover petals. ;))
5. Now repeat steps 2-4 three more times to make a 4-Leaf Clover but I'll show you one more time. So draw 2 green dots.
6. Connect those 2 dots to make a heart (clover petal).
7. Repeat steps 2-4 once more like so.
8. And finally once more!

Taaaa-daaaah! There is your adorable shamrock! :D You can add a dot in the center or even a little green stem coming out of it to finish off your shamrock but I just left mine like this. :) (Until I messed it up and took of the entire mani lol...) So this concludes my nail art tutorial for St. Patrick's Day but go ahead and read more if you want to see how my nails look now. ;)

Happy Valentine's Day! (& large heart tutorial)

<3 Happy Valentine's Day Ladies! :D
I just want to show you guys my simple Valentine's Day nails that I settled for! ;) (I mean I've done at least 5 different type. xD ;)) Hehe, here are mine for today! Just a simple "LOVE" with a heart replacing the "O". Tee-hehe! Aren't I clever? ;) <3
Well, if you'd like to learn how to make your own heart nails with NO TOOLS (besides the brush already in your nail polish bottle), then continue reading!
