Purple Ombre Nails

Hey, hey! Happy New Year my friends! Here's to the first post of 2014 :) I know a lot of people put some thought into what they wanted their first post to be but for me, my decision was quite simple. I refused to do nail art. xD So you get a purple ombre manicure instead. ;) 

 

 

Ombre Stripes

Moooohaha! I love recycling manicures. :) (When you add a design or something more to the last design you had so that you don't HAVE to take it off just quite yet!) So I just added some awesome stripes to that ombre mani I had on yesterday. :) It's my first time using striping tape so please don't make fun. XD I do really like how it turned out though! Wait... what is striping tape? :O Keep reading for more info! ;) 

Ombre Nails

I've noticed that the last few posts have had pink nail or purple polish involved... I swear I'm not usually that "girly-girl" but goodness! Pink polish is probably one of my favorite things. ;) So I decided I HAD to do something with no pink polish.. Do you know how hard this is?! It was crazy. So I decided to go with blue. :D And yeah, I couldn't figure out what blue to choose so I picked 5, hehe. Say hello to my super simple ombre nails! These are NOT gradient xD Trust me on this. Think Pink

Hehe oh I'm so happy! (Oh so happy! Very, VERY happy!) Why you ask? (Or may not be asking...) Well, I have a list actually. *Ahem*

 

 1. I switched up my blog a bit -- It's spring/summer guys! Time to make the background POP. Do you like? ;) Now I need to change my favicon...

 2. I got a 92% on my World History test. Hands down hardest history test I've ever taken. I swear, I thought I was going to get a B or C on it. Hehe... class average was like a C and I was the only A. I feel bad that it was a bad test for everyone but I'm ecstatic that I still did well on that test.

3. I am getting sponsored by several different companions at the moment so STAY TUNED for some upcoming reviews on some fantastic products. ;)

4. While in college, I have met MANY amazing international people. :) They come from so many different countries and are learning English so quickly! (Some in just 6 months is pretty much fluent!! It amazes me by how well they learn another language and especially while going to college). Anyway, I talk to international students ALL the time. They make me laugh and I love telling them about the "American Culture" while they tell me all about theirs. The thing that really MADE MY DAY though was when Arab gal (I've never talked to her until today!) comes up to me and says, "You are very social and nice. I love how you always are talking to us new English-speakers and you don't make fun of us or smile and pretend to know what we're talking about when you really just can't understand our accents." It was way cute and made me feel really good because it's true -- I love talking to people, ANY people. ;) Especially though when I get to learn new things! <3

5. Finally, I BLOGGED 9x this month! Whoooohoooo! I'm getting better at it too, don't you think? Okay. Maybe not the blogging part (my life is somewhat un-amusing to some.. I enjoy it very much though ;)) but the nails have gotten a lot cleaner and cuter. XD Can't deny that!

 

WOAH.. I haven't really blogged about my life for a while. ;) This is fun! But let's add some nail pictures to make this even better.  Today I have some super simple pink ombre nails!

Rainbow Butterfly Nails! (& mini tutorial)

Ahhhhhhhh, girls.. This is one of my ultimate, all time favorite manicures! Take a look below at my rainbow butterfly wing nails! I started off with a rainbow gradient and then added the design on top. :) I do have an updated butterfly wing tutorial if you'd like to learn how to do this design yourself! Phanton Cart Story (& Gradient Nails)

Hey everyone! Here are another pair of nails that I created a couple weeks ago that I'd love to share with you! I take so many photos so it's nice to be able to share them on my blog and not just on Instagram hehe. I have for you today some awesome gradient nails! If you want to learn how to do them yourself, I'd recommend check out Simple Nail Art Designs on YouTube! She's VERY sweet and helpful! I love her videos and she ALWAYS is willing to help you is you have more issues. :)

 

When I first tried out gradient nails last year, I only used nail polish. But Simple Nail Art Designs' video taught me how to do it with acrylic paint and made it so much easier!
