Yellow Polka Dot Bikini by China Glaze

AHHHHH! Have you guys EVER wanted the PERFECT neon yellow nail polish?! Well...  I have been looking for one for AGES and I think I finally found one! Say hello to Yellow Polka Dot Bikini by China Glaze. :) Take a look at this beauty! Keep on reading for some more picture spam. (Oh.. and also picture spam of my tennis balls. ;))

So I have been searching for a good neon yellow for a long time! I do have to say this yellow's application isn't the best but then again many neon's aren't very good. I didn't have any white base coat, so this is 5-6 THIN coats of Yellow Polka Dot Bikini. I'm sure if you used a white base you wouldn't have to do so many coats but I just wanted to see what it'd look like without one. I still adore this color though!
Look how it's EXACTLY the same color as a tennis ball! :D China Glaze definitely created a winner here. Oh, and with MOST neon nail polishes, the nail polish dries matte. In order to make it shiny, you're going to have to put on a top coat but hey, that's what Seche Vite is for. ;)
Did you guys know I love tennis? :) I've only been playing a year but it's definitely one of my favorite sports. :) It's a lot of fun because you only need one other person to play with but you can always play with a group of friends too.
And finally one last picture of Yellow Polka Dot Bikini by China Glaze with my tennis ball! I couldn't bring myself to do any nail art on these fellas.. I had this color on BOTH hands for 4 days hehe. ;) Instead I decided to try a twist on French Tips. Instead I did the "Sideways French" mani when you just tape of 1/3 of your nail and do a different color. I chose the black Black Heart by Sally Hansen. Love the contrasting colors here!
Oh and here is a bottle shot! It was requested by one of my IG gals, @janet_m1.

Anyway, this concludes the mini swatch fest! If you're looking for a fantastic neon yellow polish to add to your collection, without a DOUBT, I'd recommend Yellow Polka Dot Bikini! The application with no base coat may seem tedious with 5ish coats but when they're very thin, they dried practically instantly and the color is SOOO worth it. (Better to be thin and many than thick and few. ;) I hate when polish is thick haha..) Until next time though, Your Polish Pal, Jenna
