Neon Splatter... For The Win

It's time to get messy my friends with some neon splatter paint nails! :D This is my first time doing splatter paint nails and I am LOVING them! Keep reading to view more photos and see what my nails looked like before I cleaned up. xD (*Warning!* They pre-cleanup mani is pretty gnarly ;))

Moooohahahaha! Here are my pre-cleanup splatter paint nails. They look awful, don't they? ;) I can assure you that this wasn't hard at all to clean up though! I used black acrylic paint that I thinned out with a little water and a straw to do the splatter technique. Luckily, acrylic paint is easily cleaned with just a little water and soap. ;)
I basically dipped one end of the straw into the bottle of acrylic paint and just blew out the other end. It's definitely a messy process but so worth it! There were a few place where I couldn't wash the paint out so I had to use my nifty French Brush from Jolie Polish to get all those little nooks.
Here are my splattered paint nails all cleaned up again! :D
There are some abnormally large splatters on my ring and pinky nail... I was too lazy to redo them though. xD I'll just say that they add character. ;)
Neons are my favorite. :)
I think Nina Ultra Pro has the best neon polishes by the way! (I bought a couple during a sale at Sally's -- it was buy one, get on free for the Nina polishes so it was like $4 for 2 of these.)
The polishes that I used in this neon splatter paint mani are:
Nina Ultra Pro Orange Falme
Nina Ultra Pro Solar Flare
L.A. Girl Bubble Gum

Thanks guys for checking out my neon nails today! :) I can't believe school start in 30 days... I'll be moving in 3 weeks though! Eeeeep!

Your Polish Pal,
Jenna

  1. They turned out great! I did a splatter manicure one but it was so messy especially since I used all nail polishes for it. Maybe I'll try using acrylic paint next time since it seems to be easier to clean up.
