Hello my friends! I know that it's been a long time -- as you can probably guess, I started school! I have actually had this post ready for a week now but orientation guys... that was SO CRAZY. It was crazy in a good way though. :) However, it's time for me to get back to nails. I tried my first gold foil manicure guys! :D Keep reading for more information on these awesome foil nails. :)
Oh hey! I forgot to tell you all that one of my best friends went to Europe this summer. Cool, yes? Well they were so very sweet that they thought of me during their travels and actually bought me this Chanel nail polish! Obviously this is my first Chanel nail polish and I am very thrilled to try out this higher end brand. :) Sadly, it's a lot prettier in the bottle than on my nails but I still love its vampy shade!
I only used a couple coats of Taboo (583) by Chanel and I let it dry. Then, I used clear polish to stick on this gold foil. I know a lot of nail artists do the gold leaf in chunks; I got lazy and wanted it to look like the shattered nails.
This gold foil is actually something that I won recently from Colores de Carol! The gold foil is made by Pretty Woman by the way. :)
And just one more shot of my glossy foil nails! I love how they turned out!
