I love chevrons. Seriously. Ask anyone, that is the pattern that my dorm room is full of. Today I have for you the classic accent chevron nail art. I used skinny chevron nail vinyls from Xroma Polish & Vinyls which made the nail art super simple. Keep reading to see more photos!

Hello Tribal!
Well hello friends! I don't even know where to begin and how to explain my absence (has it really been 3 months?!) but long story short: College Life. :) And I'm lovin' it!!!
I know that it's obviously December and holiday theme nails are everywhere -- I wanted to celebrate coming back to the blogging world though with tribal nails because, as I always say, "When it doubt, tribal it out."

Evolution by Color Club
Hurray for another Color Club polish! :D Today I have for you all yet another Color Club polish that deserved a swatch for you all. But along with this Color Club, I decided to pair it with a oober gorgeous glitter bomb by Jolie Polish that you're going to have to keep reading to view. ;)

| Evolution by Color Club |
Why yes, I did go out in the snow to take this bottle shot. ;) This dead plant was just calling for a pop of blue!
And here is what 2 coats of Color Club Evolution looks like on your nails. :) I did not bother to add a topcoat because I knew I was going to add glitter to it. It's not as shiny as In Theory but this formula was a bit more crème-y than In Theory (which was more jelly-like). This blue is a definite must have for any collection though! So if you're interested in checking out the new glitter bomb by Jolie Polish, keep reading. :)

In Theory by Color Club
Yeah... since it's February, it's time to pull out all my pink polishes and swatch them. :) I decided to show you all Color Club In Theory today just because I've actually never worn this color and Color Club is one of my favorite polish brands. ;) I have such lame reasons but this salmon-y pink color is so pretty!

S is for Smiley Face
Smile and be happy! <3 Yes, yes, yes! I freaking love smiley faces. (In fact... it was the first design I ever did on my nails way back in the days. xD) So, I decided it was about time to recreate them for S nails for the ABC Nail Art Challenge. I give you S is for smiley face nails. ;)

Glossy Glam Review
Have you ever been in the situation where you just can't find the perfect topcoat? I've come to the point where the only topcoat I use is Seche Vite (SV) because it dries quickly and makes my nails super shiny. Just one major problem that SV causes is that it sometimes shrinks the polish (and therefore looks like you didn't paint the entire nail even though you swore you did!) or creates little air bubbles when it dries. :p Long story short, even though I use SV most of the time, it has some ups and downs like all polishes. But, if you're like me and you love a great glossy topcoat and don't want the shrinkage, then you really should look at Glossy Glam Topcoat by Ricarda. ;) Although I hope that you keep on reading the entire review, let's just start off by saying that it does everything that SV can do but WITHOUT shrinking your nail polish when it dries.
Quick before and after -- As you can see, Glossy Glam is just as shiny as SV.

Ombre Nails
I've noticed that the last few posts have had pink nail or purple polish involved... I swear I'm not usually that "girly-girl" but goodness! Pink polish is probably one of my favorite things. ;) So I decided I HAD to do something with no pink polish.. Do you know how hard this is?! It was crazy. So I decided to go with blue. :D And yeah, I couldn't figure out what blue to choose so I picked 5, hehe. Say hello to my super simple ombre nails! These are NOT gradient xD Trust me on this. Keep reading for more pics and my quick explanation on ombre versus gradient nails. :)

Strawberry Nail Art Tutorial
Hey everyone! Believe it or not but I FINALLY have my tutorial ready! *Phew* I did these nails last week but I'm finally ready to post it because it just took me FOREVER to edit and just prepare this post. Mooohahaha! So without any further ado, take a took below and see if you're interested in learning how to make strawberry nails. :) *WARNING: This is a COMPLETE tutorial!* I do have the mini tutorial but I've gotten some complaints that they're too hard. (Read the captions please, don't ONLY look at the pictures :p) But anyway, hopefully this tutorial will be extremely helpful for those beginner nail artists! Hehe.. This is as close as I can get to "Video Tutorials" at the moment. I just don't have the time for those. :(
These nails are super duper easy. ;) All you need is red, green, and yellow nail polish, tape, scissors, and a toothpick/mechanical pencil to draw the lines. :) But let's get started guys!!

Faces in Cool Places
That's right. Faces in some pretty cool places. ;) (aka my nails hahaha). My mom actually has been giving me a lot of recommendations on what to put on my nails. xD Silly, I know, but a lot of her ideas are actually pretty cute. ;) She told me one day that she'd like to see text faces on my nails. Lol.. what? Texting faces? Yup, those smiley faces that you make while you text (or blog). So, that's what I have for you today! Take a look at these super adorable nails. :)
Hahaha see?! They're literally texting faces on my nails! Gee Mom, you come up with some great ideas I do have to say... And take a look at my awesome (yet lame) phone. ;) It's just a Pantech Pursuit II but I love the keyboard and the colors, green and black, so it works. :) Anyway! Back to the nails. Continue reading for more pictures! :)

Sending Some Love!
Moohahaha.. weekend here I come! Boy, life is getting busy! Oh well, only like 5 more weeks until Spring Break and end of college quarter NUMBER TWO! Yahoo! ;) Summer.. June 27th, can you be any further away? Hmm... something much close though is Valentine's Day! <3 I may not have that "special someone" on February 14th, but I certainly can get in the "festive mood" with some pink hearts! ;) So go ahead and take a look at one of my Valentine's Day themed nail art!
I was inspired by Lucy Ridley whose blog is 100daysofmakeup.blogspot.com :) Click HERE to see the original manicure that Lucy created! It is beautiful! I wish I had longer nails to make them look more like hers, but I'm still really happy with these. :) Continue reading just to see a few more pictures of these. ;)

Saran Wrap Mani Tutorial
And yes, I am alive! Haha, you can tell that school has officially started again and oh boy... 18 credits = hectic schedule! Haha, I didn't know there was so much reading involved! Well, that's okay because I enjoy being busy. :) So thank you for joining me today for a Saran Wrap Mani Tutorial! I am going to warn you, this is a LONG post. But it's mainly going to be a lot of pictures and explanations. :) (I currently do not have a YouTube channel for videos and I'm so sorry about that! I just currently don't have the time and equipment for quality videos. :/ But hopefully this EXTREME pictorial will make up for it all. :)) So take a look below at my saran wrap nails and let's see if you like them enough to try them yourself. ;)
These are saran wrap nails. :) They're not really a design, but more of a technique that you do in order to get a different colored background. I think it almost looks like granite or some type of rock on it's own, but it makes a great background for other nail art too!! Don't worry, it is SO easy to do and I think it looks pretty cute. ;) So press "read more" for the tutorial if you're interested!

Happy New Year's Eve!
Hey everyone! It is the end of the year 2012! Whooo hooo! Finally time to date our paper with 13's and look forward to the new year. :) Actually the New Year isn't really "big" for me but I am very excited for school to start up again! I miss HAVING to have to get up and ready for school plus doing work, hehe. And by my little winter scene nails below, you can tell that I haven't really had anything better to do than to do my nails. :)

In the Stars
Follow my blog with Bloglovin
Let me lose into the stars, please! Actually, please don't... I don't have my space suit or rocket ship ready! But if I did... I probably would LOVE to go into space. It would be the coolest thing to go OUTSIDE our own atmosphere into the galaxies in my opinion! But because I don't have millions of dollars or plan to go into astronomy, I'll have to settle with some galaxy nails. :) I actually already have a tutorial for Galaxy Nail Art Tutorial so you can find that in the tutorial tab OR just click HERE. :) I haven't done these since July! I probably should have tried a different color combo but I love the purple, blue, and pink! (Not brave enough to try yellow and green yet!!) So go ahead and look below for picture spam!!

I was also able to spend it with my family and ate lots of yummy food and treats, so yes, it was wonderful. :) Today I have for you giraffe print nails! Haha, seems a little different, huh? Well, let's see how they turned out!
