Hello all! <3 Your Polish Pal is still alive! Barely... just kidding. Or am I? :| 

I have to admit that pink is one of my favorite colors, so it was time to pull out some dainty nail art for Valentines Day. I did these nails about a week ago but finally have some spare time to upload photos. :) Keep reading for more photos and a quick life update!

Stitched Heart Nails (+ Tutorial)

 I know it's not Valentine's Day Season right now by the lack of chocolates, flowers, and jewelry bombarding stores and TV advertisements but I don't care! :D I want to have some cute lovey-dovey nail art even though it's "not in season" right now.

Happy Belated Valetine's Day!

Happy Belated Valentine's Day lovelies! :D

 

Oh bother... I know you often get a 'Happy Belated Birthday' or perhaps even a 'Happy Belated Anniversary' but does 'Belated Valentine's Day' even exist...? Haha, well it does now. :)

 

I literally just threw together a quick Valentine's Day manicure yesterday that I was planning on posting during the afternoon but it obviously didn't happen. :/ Oh well! While everyone is switching to green nail designs for St. Patrick's Day, I'll be that one blogger that is still stuck on pink and red nails. xD So take a look at my quickie (and last!) Valentine's Day nails for 2014. :)

 

French Tips + Hearts

Hey, hey my lovely friends! I know I took a quick break from all that pink with some purple yesterday but Valentine's Day is approaching quickly and I have to continue with more girly pink stuff. ;) So today I have for you my basic take at a French Manicure with little red hearts for an accent! This is the first time I've done French Tip nails so I know I have a lot of room for improvement. xD

Whooo! I am posting my first official Valentine's Day nail art for 2014! ;D I've actually done a couple other designs but I'm not happy with the photos I got with them. :( So I decided here, I'm going to do a cute design tonight and take pictures tomorrow morning when I wake up. And this is what I ended up with. ;) I don't know about you, but I rather please with my almost 'midnight mani' creation. Keep reading for more details and pictures!

Catch My Heart

Four more days until Valentine's Day! :D I don't know how many more hearty manicures I can do haha.. But this one is super cute and definitely one of my favorites! You Make My Heart Skip A Beat

You make my heart skip a beat... ;) Have you ever felt that way? <3 Hehe but ANYWAY, let's move on from this lovey-dovey stuff. Just take a look at my nails. (Lol... And just for those who are wondering, I will have a "lonely" Valentine's Day but hey! Think about all the yummy candy that goes on sale after February 14th. ;) That's my love. xD  But just take a look at my "beating heart" nails. :) I was inspired by the AMAZING Sam and here is my mediocre re-make of her heart beat nails. (View hers HERE). They are just so cute! Mine don't look anything like hers... but meh. Even people like me can try to re-make an expert's nails. xD Continue reading for more more picture spam. ;) Just an idea for some Valentine's Day Nails. :)  

Moo haha! I just drew some random lines that connected across the nails and added a heart to my thumb and ring finger to complete the "heart beat". :) And my wonderful friend Emily sent me my first bottle of Seche Vite. xD I've falledn IN LOVE. Oh Seche, will you be my Valentine? ;) White acrylic paint for the design by the way!

Cloud Mani - Valentine's Day Style!

Oh boy, get ready for this. MORE pink nails haha! I feel so bad.. everyone on Instagram is asking me to do a lot of Valentine's Day tutorials and I'm just like uhhhh.. Just do designs in pinks, reds, whites, etc. Alas, I'm not very good at doing all super cute ideas on the spur of the moment lol. I just do them and hope to get lucky and have something cute. Well.. my idea of happy love birds didn't exactly work so a cloud manicure will have to do! Haha, I think that any nail art in these "festive" colors can make an adorable Valentine's Day Mani so take a look below at my choice of colors for mine. :) There is a mini tutorial if you'd like to learn how to make your own below, so go ahead and press read on if interested!

Sending Some Love!

Moohahaha.. weekend here I come! Boy, life is getting busy! Oh well, only like 5 more weeks until Spring Break and end of college quarter NUMBER TWO! Yahoo! ;) Summer.. June 27th, can you be any further away? Hmm... something much close though is Valentine's Day! <3 I may not have that "special someone" on February 14th, but I certainly can get in the "festive mood" with some pink hearts! ;) So go ahead and take a look at one of my Valentine's Day themed nail art!

I Heart Spots (& peanut butter)

Hey ladies! Wanna know a secret? ("Promise not to tell? We are standing by a wishing well!" Just kidding. I wish we were, but we're not.) I probably do my nails about three times a week but I only post the nail art that has tutorials to accompany them. But today is going to be a special occasion for a post because 1. I'm not getting many Halloween tutorials out (I've only done candy corn.. :/ I did try the spiderweb like 4 times though. Still practicing myself! I have to recommend Amber's blog because she has fabulous Halloween tutorials out right now! In fact, HERE is her spider web to find here spider web tutorial :) It's very easy, I just don't have any stripers or thin brushes at the moment to do it myself.. :p) 2. Ugh, I get off topic a lot. ;) and 3. This nail art is actually based off one my friend's tutorial! Take a look below to see what I did. :)

Valentine's Day Nails & Heart Tutorial

I know, I know... What the heck? Valentine's day in September? Well... You all know I just recently bought white polish (FINALLY, honestly! White, black, and the basic ROYGBIV rainbow colors are essential to nail art!), so I decided to get a little cutesy. :) I don't have a full tutorial on all my nails, but they're pretty basic and I'll try to explain them once you see some adorable pictures! Look below!

Here I have a tic-tac-toe with hearts (my favorite nails), "I <3 U", many hearts and some polka dots, "LOVE" (I originally had a heart as the "O" but then switched later... What ever you prefer though works!) and a large pink heart that I outlined in black! So for the base color, I used Hard to Get by Sally Hansen and then the black, red, and light pink are just acrylic paints. I'm still playing around with them, but they are a lot easier to work with and create some neat designs!  

Here is the easiest way though to create a heart on your nails! VERY, VERY easy and cute nail art for anyone! All you need is a pencil and some paint. (You heard me, I just used a pencil to make these. No special tools).

1. Start with a dot. If you want a big heart, make a big dot, and if you want a small heart, make a small dot.

2. Add the same size dot right next to the original.

3. Now with your pencil (dotting tool, acrylic brush, etc.), draw a downwards line. (Look at box 3, see how I did that?) It doesn't matter which dot you draw the line from because you'll repeat the same process.

4. Woah! Repeat step 3 but in the opposite direction.

Creating perfect and beautiful hearts are just THAT easy. ;) This was my middle finger (hehe...) and I added several more hearts and then polka dots! I'm really sorry about the unseasonal nails, but I just thought these were just too cute and I had to share them!
