Yellow and Black Floral Nails

It is time to face one of my nemesis designs today: floral nail art. You know I typically don't do the whole flower business but thanks to Sarah over at 25 Sweet Peas, she got me to try these adorable yellow flowers for our #BestieTwinNails Collaboration. Leopard Rose Nails (+ Tutorial)

 

 If you really like floral nails, then you're in luck! I have been having an obsession with floral manicures lately so let's continue this fad with my fun classic leopard print nails with hot pink roses. :) This design in particular was inspired by Jan @_nail_bliss_ on Instagram. A friend and I decided that it was time to recreate this oober girly nail design as a #bestietwinnails collab! Nautical Nails

Hey-ho ladies! I finally have some nail art to show you all! ;D My friend Janet from Instagram, @janet_m1, always has the cutest manicures. She had this one mani in particular that was inspired a quote and as soon I saw it, I was like "I need to do nails inspired by a quote!" :) I adore quotes. <3 Luckily, Janet does as well so we decided it was time to do find a awesome quote and do some bestie twin nails. :) And this is what we ended up with; our first time doing nautical nails!! I think they turned out so cute.

Guess what day it is??! GUESS WHAT DAY IT IS!! Huh, huh? Yup. That's right. It's my biiiiiiirthday! :D And I would love to cry because I just spent 5 hours doing chemistry and French homework. But that's okay because I did get to do my nails to celebrate today. ;)

 

This is the first time I tried out cupcake nails and I was inspired by Hannah. I think they turned out sooooo freaking cute!

She Sells Sea Shells

She sells sea shells down by the sea shore. ;) I had to say this so slowly while typing this just to make sure that I wrote the words right. xD So as you may have guessed, I have some sea shells nails that were inspired by Coewless Polish! You can check out her original manicure here. :)

Mario Mushroom Nails

It's Marioooooooooooo! (You better be saying it in that Mario voice guys!) ;) Actually, no. This isn't Mario and I apologize for lying. It's actually Mario mushrooms! :D It's been so long since I've done some nail art so this is what you all get. Emily (IG@Blueemster) and I finally decided to do our collab (the one that we've came up with months ago but were too busy to actually do until now!). So this is what I came up with. Happy Birthday Amanda!

Eeeek! Blogging definitely has it's ups and downs. A major "up" in my opinion is the people that you can meet that have the same interests as you! A lot of my friends and family know that I am obsessed with nail art, especially since I bombard their Facebook feeds with a nail photo every week or so, but not many of them try out nail art or are as apt about it a I am. When I entered the blogging world and Instagram, I was so surprised that there were others out there that also strived to become an artist on their nails! It's so great to get into conversations with people that are interested in the next nail polish collection or new tips and techniques to try next.

 

I want to dedicate this post to one of my Instagram (IG) besties, @painted_nails_ :) She is so stinking sweet and funny and of course I love her nails! It's been crazy watching us both grow and improve our nail art. And of course, today is a special day for her -- it's the day of her birth! :D Also known as... the birthday. :O So yeah. I painted my nails just for her but was stupid and used a pink base and then used PINK colors AFTER I figured out that she's not too girly... Sorry Amanda.. You're just going to HAVE to like the colors! But here ya go girl! I tried hard. ;) Just kidding... they're not my best! :O
