It is time to face one of my nemesis designs today: floral nail art. You know I typically don't do the whole flower business but thanks to Sarah over at 25 Sweet Peas, she got me to try these adorable yellow flowers for our #BestieTwinNails Collaboration. Head on over to her blog to see how hers turned out! She told me that she has a tutorial for these floral nails... ;) Watch the video here! And keep reading to see more photos!
Here is the print that we both were inspired by! Isn't it super summery and bright?
Although floral nails aren't my forte, I think these turned out rather well. For me at least. xD
Because you can't go wrong with black and yellow, black and yellow!
The polishes I used are:
China Glaze Glistening Snow (silver glitter)
Sinful Colors Black on Black (black)
Seche Porcelain II (white)
+ black and yellow acrylic paint
And here is a closeup of my little yellow flowers!
Boom. Sarah is a natural at floral. I am so jealous. She finished these so quick when we were doing the collab... we pretty much started at the same time, but she was done before my paint was even dry. xD Check out here full post here!
Well that's all I have for today my friends! Be sure to check out Sarah's Instagram page for more super fun manicures. :)
Your Polish Pal,
Jenna
These turned out so pretty :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for doing these with me! Yours are fabulous, plus I think they both really look alike!!😉 so much fun!!
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute, I love the silver polish on your ring finger as well!
ReplyDeleteI love your mani / design! Lol, I love yellow! Guess what I put on my nails yesterday - yellow! Today I have planned to do a little nail art with black and an undecided color - some freehand stripes and simple flowers, like yours. It was wonderful to open this up and see your colors and design on your mani!
